Peter Hirshberg has led emerging media and technology companies at the center of disruptive change for more than 20 years. The seasoned digerati is an innovation advisor to United Nations Global Pulse, an initiative of the Secretary General’s office to use emerging big data techniques to help vulnerable populations in real-time, and advisor of the MIT SENSEable Cities Lab. As Chairman of the GAFFTA Peter has led initiatives that explore the boundaries and implications of the city as a series of networks. These include San Fransciso's Summer of Smart 2011 with the SF Department of Technology and Code For America and the Singapore Urban Innovation Festival 2012.
