Kai Bolik is CEO and co-founder of GameDuell. As a serial entrepreneur, he contributes the strategic vision and management experience that has made GameDuell one of the best monetizing, as well as one of the largest cross-platform social games communities worldwide with popular titles like Bubble Popp and Jungle Jewels. In operation since 2003, the company grew from zero to more than 70 million registered players across the GameDuell social platform, social networks and mobile platforms like Android, iPad and iPhone. The company is driven by an international team of more than 170 game-enthusiasts, located in Berlin and San Francisco. Prior to GameDuell, Kai founded several start-ups in the TV and telecommunications fields. Before that, he worked in various management positions at Bertelsmann, which included leading the 300 people technical team of Lycos Europe (including Spray Networks, Multimania, Caramail, and Jubii). Earlier in his career he worked as a strategic consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Kai holds an MS in computer science from the City University of New York, a Diploma in Telecommunications from the Technical University of Berlin and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
