Christian Angermayer (34) is a German entrepreneur and investor born and raised in Germany and based in London.

His activities and investments are done predominantly via Apeiron Investment Group, a family office and merchant banking business focused on advisory work and proprietary investments mainly into German Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (from “old economy” to “new technologies”), International Financial Services Companies, Emerging Markets Companies (with a focus on Africa) and Media, Arts & Entertainment businesses.

Prior to Apeiron Investment Group, which Christian started in 2012, he was founder and partner for 14 years at ABL Group, and independent, international financial services group. Among many other successful companies, during this time Christian created and co-founded today stock market listed African Banking Holding ADC African Development Corporation (ticker symbol AZC.GR), Ribopharma, which later merged with an US company and is today stock market listed Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (ticker symbol ALNY) and Aragon, Germany´s largest IFA network with more than 20.000 independent financial advisors.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Christian places great value on social, political and societal commitments. Since 2011 he is a member of the Young Global Leaders programme as well as of the Advisory Council of the Global Growth Companies (GGC) of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The Global Growth Company program of the WEF was formed in 2007 to especially engage dynamic high-growth companies with the potential of becoming tomorrow’s industry leaders and a driving force for economic and social change.

Christian Angermayer serves as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council of His Excellency President Paul Kagame of Rwanda since 2008. Christian Angermayer is member of the Advisory Council of Bank Sarasin AG. He is also an active member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a community that was founded to inspire, connect, and empower a community of global leaders to forge solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

Combining social responsibility and his private passion for arts and movies, Christian Angermayer is a founding donor and supervisory board member of the Cinema for Peace Foundation and co-host of the annual Cinema for Peace Award. Christian (executive) produced inspiring and critically acclaimed movies like GOETHE! and SONG FOR MARION. His speciality financing company Artbitrage is offering liquidity and financing to art collectors and art dealers with accepting bluechip works of art as collateral.
