Till Roenneberg is Prof. for Chronobiology; Vice-Chair of the Institute for Medical Psychology of the Ludwig-Maximilian-University, Munich; Head of the Centre for Chronobiology; (2005-2010) Coordinator of the FP6 IP “EUCLOCK”; (2005-2010) Coordinator of the Daimler-Benz-Foundation network “ClockWORK”; President-elect of the European Biological Rhythms Socie-ty; President of the World Federation of Societies for Chronobiology (WFSC); (2010-29012) Member at large of the Society for Research of Biological Rhythms, SRBR; Member of the “Senior Common Room of Brasenose College, University of Oxford”.
He received his scientific education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich and the Univer-sity College, London and taught and researched for many years at Harvard University.
He received several national and international prizes: Harvard-Hoops Price for Excellence in Teaching; Honma Prize for Outstanding Contributions to Chronobiological Research; Aschoff's Ruler; Silver Medal of the University of Munich; Professional Lighting Design Recognition Award for Research and Education.
He published more than 120 papers in peer reviewed journals with an accumulative Impact Factor of over 650.
