Founded by Chris Kyvetos, in august 2013 a new outlook on luxury street wear emerged digitally and physically - the world’s first luxury sneaker and street wear stores, sneakerboy. Brand partners and providing their full support to this innovative new platform are the world’s leading international brands and fashion houses, including balenciaga, saint laurent paris, givenchy, balmain, lanvin, alexander mcqueen, rick owens, marc jacobs, y3, pierre hardy, raf simons, kris van assche, maison martin margiela and giuseppe zanotti. These unrivalled super brands will be accompanied by special lines, limited edition collections, collaborations and pre-releases by the most respected footwear and fashion designers in the world including nike, adidas (rick owens for adidas, adidas originals x opening ceremony and raf simons x adidas), reebok, diemme, common projects and boris bidjan saberi. As a retail model, sneakerboy will offer many firsts for today’s digitally confident luxury consumer who will be able to shop this extraordinary collection of product either in-store or on the move – via the world’s first seamlessly integrated digital luxury platform. Following the august web launch, in late 2013 sneakerboy opened their first physical store in melbourne in september 2013 followed by a store in sydney in december. More stores are planned world-wide - all of which will be monuments devoted to the global luxury street wear aesthetic.
