As Executive Vice President and Head of the Open Innovation Center, David Eun leads Samsung’s innovation efforts to develop new software and services to complement the company’s diverse set of hardware devices. In this capacity, he is responsible for early stage investments, acquisitions, partnerships and Accelerators in Silicon Valley and New York, both of which build internal start-ups with preferred access to Samsung’s operating units.


Prior to joining Samsung, David served as President of AOL Media and Studios and formerly headed Google’s Content Partnerships with leading media and internet companies globally, most notably YouTube, Google Maps and Google Books.


Before Google, he worked at Time Warner and NBC Entertainment, focusing on business development and digital distribution roles.


David is a former management consultant at Bain & Company and is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, where he was a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Negotiation Project.
