As Managing Partner of VivaKi, David Kenny brings vision and sensibility to the complex digital media landscape that marketers must master to engage people. It is this vision that earns him the top job with Vivaki. VivaKi was launched in June 2008 to leverage the assets of Digitas, Starcom MediaVest Group, Denuo and ZenithOptimedia, Publicis Groupe's best-in-class global resources in media, digital, direct and technology marketing communication services. David also oversees Publicis Groupe's overall digital and interactive strategy as a member of its Management Board (the Directoire), and Executive Committee (the P12). He shares Managing Partner duties at VivaKi with fellow Directoire and P12 member Jack Klues. David was most recently Chairman and CEO of Digitas, which Publicis Groupe acquired in 2006. Since joining the firm in 1997, David found himself at the center of the global digital revolution, leading the evolution and growth of the company that has helped set the standard for digital and direct marketing communication. Digitas is a cornerstone of Publicis Groupe's global digital offering, with offices in the U.S., Europe and Asia. David spent his early career holding marketing and strategy positions at General Motors Corp. before joining Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm, where he was named to its Policy Committee at age 33 and became Senior Partner two years later. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the General Motors Institute (Kettering University) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Ad Council, Akamai Technologies, The Corporate Executive Board and Teach For America.
