Isaac Lee is the Chief News, Entertainment & Digital Officer for UCI, the leading media company serving Hispanic America. He is responsible for the editorial oversight of Univision News across network, local and digital platform as well as UCI’s comprehensive digital efforts across verticals. In addition, he also manages key areas of the company’s growth including the Fusion Media Group (FMG), a multi-platform destination for the new, rising American mainstream. FMG is comprised of UCI’s interests in FUSION and El Rey as well as The Root, The Onion, A.V. Club, Clickhole, Starwipe, Flama, Univision Digital and Univision Music. Lee has also created digital partnerships between Univision and Variety, Red Bull Media House, Participant Media and The Atlantic among others. Most recently, he launched Storyhouse, UCI’s content development and production arm and inked content deals with Netflix and HBO. Lee has been leading journalistic teams for nearly 20 years at prominent publications serving Spanish-speaking audiences in the U.S. and Latin America. Most recently he was recognized by the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism with its Journalistic Achievement Award and by the National Association of Hispanic Journalists with the Presidential Award of Excellence.
