Philip is currently head of Business Development at Rockmelt (www.rockmelt.com), where he manages partnerships. His background and experience runs across both the wireless and content industry. Before joining Rockmelt, Philip co-founded Shazam, where he initially focused on building the music database and later the licensing of the core Shazam technology to the broadcasting industry. He was also President at TrueCar (the largest online automotive retailer) and lead strategic partnerships at Google/YouTube. Originally from Belgium, Philip lives with his wife and two daughters in San Francisco, and is a self-admitted kiteboarding addict.
