William Kim joined AllSaints in October 2012 as Chief Executive Officer, with a
vision to expand the brand’s global reach, as well as to maximise both existing and new product opportunities across all distribution channels.
Since then, Kim has driven significant growth in the core British and American markets, while expanding the brand’s global awareness by venturing into new territories, such as Canada, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and France. In 2014, the brand opened its first stores in the Asian region, and now has over 15 stores in Korea, Taiwan and, most recently, Japan. In 2015, AllSaints also announced an exclusive franchise partnership in the Middle East with Majid Al Futtaim, with the first stores recently opened in Dubai and Kuwait, and a store rollout planned throughout the United Arab Emirates in the next two years. New product offerings have been introduced, with AllSaints’ first full women’s handbag range, The Capital Collection, launched in Autumn 2015, and women’s shoes in Spring 2016.
Kim’s management philosophy at AllSaints has been “to create a brand for 2020”, a forward looking approach to building a global, digital organisation that has resulted in taking the company into sustained profitability, through its unique model. Prior to AllSaints, William Kim held several leadership positions at Burberry across Asia, Europe and the Americas, including Senior Vice President of Digital while based in London. He also spent seven years with the Gucci Group, holding senior roles in global markets across numerous divisions, including Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Gucci Watches & Jewellery, and Bedat & Co.
