Hans Ulrich Obrist, the co-director of Serpentine Gallery and DLDarts curator, has a project going on where he posts photographs of handwritten notes from the distinguished people he meets on his Instagram.
He got inspired to do this project when he came across an article by Umberto Eco that lamented the disappearance of handwriting because of computers. HUO thinks it’s essential to introduce handwriting back to the digital age.
