Aliona Doletskaya is the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Russia, and the current editor-in-chief of the Russian and German Interview. A headline in the New York Times once asked "why the editor of Russian Vogue is getting so much attention." Well, the combination of her sharp elegance, natural authority and a cigarette and whiskey tinted voice is apparently absorbing. Too superficial? She is simply one of the smartest in the fashion cosmos, too. At DLDmoscow, she shared her view on the prospects of magazine journalism, Russia's next (apolitical) generation and the singular quality of the human contact in an interview. Finally, she is almost certain that, if still alive, Andy Warhol would be definitely doing the tweeting, linkeding and facebooking.
