Rob Carlson is a Managing Director at Planetary Technologies, which invests in scalable technologies to enable the world to mature beyond fossil fuels at the pace necessary to avoid unsustainable warming. His strategic analysis and quantitative research is cited prominently by governmental policies and roadmaps in the United States, Great Britain, the European Union, the OECD, and multiple branches of the United Nations. Carlson is an Affiliate Professor in the Paul Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington and earned a doctorate in Physics from Princeton University in 1997.
