Jeffrey Inaba is the founder of INABA, an architecture and planning firm based in Los Angeles that is currently working on urban design, housing and installation projects in Europe, Asia and the US. INABA’s work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New Museum, Walker Art Center, Storefront for Art and Architecture, and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. He directs the Columbia Laboratory for Architectural Broadcasting (C-Lab), a research and policy group at Columbia University‘s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation that investigates urban and architecture issues of public consequence. He is the Features Editor of Volume Magazine, an independent quarterly whose recent issues cover American ‘60s Counterculture, the Moon, Storytelling, and Hope. Inaba is the author of numerous publications, including the recent book, World of Giving (Lars Müller Publishers, 2010). He studied at Harvard University (Master of Architecture, MA in Philosophy of Architecture) and University of California, Berkeley (AB).
