Mr. Huang Shan (黄山) served as international editor of Caijing Magazine from 2005 to 2009. In November 2009, he followed Ms. Hu Shuli, then editor-in-chief of Caijing Magazine, to found Caixin Media and now is Deputy Managing Editor and editorial board member. Li moved back to China in 2007 to head Caijing Magazine’s English website.

He also served as Caijing’s U.S. correspondent in 2008. Prior to joining the Beijing office of Caijing, Mr. Huang Shan was Caijing’s Hong Kong correspondent in 2005 and editor of the Singtao Daily in New York City in 2004. Since joining Caixin, Mr. Huang has been involved in a wide range of reporting and management activities. He is frequently consulted by visiting foreign individuals and institutions and has developed a very good relationship with foreign missions and commerce chambers. Mr. Huang was invited by the European Commission to participate in prestigious EUVP program that allowed him to have unique access to senior EU leaders in 2017. Mr. Huang holds an M.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame in the U.S.in 2004. He was recipient of Presidential Fellowship of ND, the highest honor granted by ND. He served on the ND Greater China Scholarship Selection Committee in both 2011and 2012 and serves as President of ND Beijing Alumni Club. He is the fellow of Switzerland-based Stars Symposium and the key organizer of China-Japan Young Leaders Program. Mr. Huang was an alumnus of a top-notched EUVP program, and was invited to visit the EU headquarter in Brussels in summer 2017 on a tailored program. Mr. Huang graduated from Peking University in 2001 majoring in International Politics and received his B.A.
