Zack Denfeld is co-founder of the Center for Genomic Gastronomy, an artist-led think tank that studies the biodiversity and biotechnology of human food systems and directs the Office of Life + Art (OLA) [http://www.lifeandart.io/] a creative studio that makes objects, exhibitions and experiences that meaningfully engage with the challenges of the 21st century.

He is currently an associate professor of interaction design at the University of Bergen and a researcher at the Science Gallery, Trinity College Dublin. Before taking a deep dive into the organisms and environments that are manipulated by human food cultures Zack launched the Center for Experimental Media Art in Bangalore, India and the MFA in Collaborative Design in Portland, Oregon, USA.
